PGOOD Architects
The company was founded in 2002 and is managed by Arch. DI Martin Praschl and Arch. DI Azita Praschl-Goodarzi.
Their work focuses on the renovation and revitalization of historic buildings, urban planning analyses, innovative new construction projects in the residential sector and multi-storey timber construction. Special attention is also paid to cross-site projects and block renovations that aim to enhance a district far beyond the boundaries of the building site.
From 2007 to 2011, PGOOD Architekten were commissioned with the management of the area management for urban renewal in Vienna's 20th district and were able to gain valuable experience with participation and citizen participation projects in this position.
A significant number of the projects built were realized by winning competitions.
Some completed projects were recognized for their quality, including several awards at the Vienna Urban Renewal Prize, awards from the MA19 and the 2015 Timber Construction Prize.
The refurbishment of the Werkbund Estate, the timber housing at Breitenfurter Strasse 450-454, the block refurbishment at Neubaugürtel 13-17 and the Apfelbaum Campus project in Hernals have attracted particular attention.
